Riedel Glass Company will offer two wine tasting classes at Beans Creek Winery on July 12, 2014. The classes will be held at 12-1:30 pm and 2-3:30 pm. The tasting will consist of 5 different wines using glasses specifically tailored for each wine.  Mike Liedel, Riedel representative, and winemakers Tom and Josh Brown of Beans Creek, will explain how the characteristics of the glasses improve the flavors of the wine. Tickets are available at the winery for 50 dollars each or 45 dollars for wine club members. Guests receive a set of 5 glasses valued at 60 dollars with each ticket.

Riedel Glass Company has manufactured wine glasses since 1756. The company is the originator of the concept of having glasses with characteristics designed to enhance different types of wines. Maximilian Riedel (eleventh generation) heads up the glass business today. The company has performed such tastings throughout the world for more than 45 years.

Beans Creek held Riedel tastings in November 2013, February and April 2014.
