Riedel Glass Company will offer two wine tasting classes on December 6, 2014. The classes will be held at the winery, 12-1:30 and 2-3:30. The tasting will consist of 5 different wines using glasses specifically tailored for each wine.  Mike Liedel, Riedel representative, and winemakers Tom and Josh Brown of Beans Creek, will explain how the characteristics of the glasses improve the flavors of the wine. Tickets are available at Beans Creek Winery for 50 dollars each or 45 dollars for wine club members. Guests receive a set of 5 glasses valued at 60 dollars with each ticket.

Mike Liedel gives information about the glasses. He tells stories about the history of the company and the history of Riedel family, and he shares his personal experience. Mike has traveled to many countries learning about wine and participating in wine classes.

Tom and Josh Brown describe how the glasses can be used for wine made in Tennessee from grapes grown in Tennessee.

Guests will pair all five wines with food carefully chosen to enhance the taste of the wine even more.

Beans Creek has offered four such tasting classes since November 2013.

Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling the winery at 931-723-2294.  Seating is limited.
